Fans of the series can enjoy The Lab at Movistar Gran Vía 28 from June 18 to July 31, a free experience to discover how far your paranormal powers go.The Lab is a space that will recreate the Hawkins Laboratory of the series ‘Stranger Things’ at Movistar Gran Vía 28. A free tour through an immersive space that will start with a photo opportunity at the door of the Telefónica building (Gran Via door with Fuencarral): a crack to the Upside Down.
Then, visitors will feel like Eleven herself as they will be subjected to different tests that will show how far their paranormal powers go. In addition to photos, attendees will get a personalized souvenir of the series, and among all the attendees who record and upload a TikTok with this hashtag, we will choose the best one who will get the ultimate pack to enjoy the series: exclusive merchandising of ‘Stranger Things’, a 50” TV and a popcorn machine.

Movistar Plus + y Netflix vuelven a colaborar con la apertura de este portal temporal a otra dimensión. Más de 110.000 personas han disfrutado de esta instalación en Madrid, que ahora llega a Barcelona. Los fans de “Strangers Things” podrán acceder a las calles de Hawkins, fotografiarse junto a réplicas de los decorados de la serie y sentirse como un miembro más de la pandilla protagonista. Durante su recorrido, los visitantes se sentirán como la propia Eleven al ser sometidos a diferentes pruebas para conocer sus poderes paranormales: control de la luz, levitación de objetos y fuerza mental son algunas de estas pruebas que se llevarán a cabo en el laboratorio. También podrán disfrutar de las zonas recreativas del centro comercial StarCourt, con ocho máquinas recreativas y una oportunidad fotográfica de Creel House, y otra con bicicletas para hacerse una foto o un vídeo con los protagonistas.

Five weeks is such a short time that the series doesn’t even have trouble placing the viewer. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) finds herself regaining her abilities at NINA, a secret lab in the middle of the desert, with the help of Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) and Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser). Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) search for the Hawkins superheroine with Suzie’s coordinates. Joyce (Winona Ryder), Hopper (David Harbour) and Murray (Brett Gelman) are in a Soviet prison with a skull-hungry Demogorgon.
It can’t be said that the different teams work on the same level (with Hopper in communist territory as the weakest link and Hawkins and Steve’s boys as the triumphant ones) but the experiment doesn’t prove unsuccessful either: Stranger things won’t have the most layered characters on TV but definition, charisma and affection are not lacking in them.
And, after criticizing them for their obsession with creative remixing rather than exploring new ideas, one can even celebrate the Duffers looking for new ways to set up the season finale fight. While the second and third seasons are barely indistinguishable in memory because of this tendency to stir what was in the pot without putting in new ingredients, this decision at least gives it another texture.
